Our Soil Choices

F1 -Multi-purpose Topsoil BS3882

Our BS3882 multi-purpose topsoil is UKAS-tested to guarantee quality, nutrient value, and peat-free sustainability. Made from quarry sands and PAS100 compost, it suits commercial and domestic landscaping, planting, turfing, and new housing. Designed to meet regulations, this versatile soil supports healthy growth while aligning with modern environmental standards.

F2 - Subsoil – BS8601

BS8601 subsoil supports healthy topsoil, root development, and natural drainage. With typically low nutrient levels, it provides stability for landscaping projects in both commercial and domestic settings. Offering reliable ground conditions, it forms the essential foundation for successful planting, tree growth, and long-term resilient landscapes that stand the test of time in any environment.

F3 – Low Fertility Soil

Our low fertility soils are produced with reduced nutrients to promote biodiversity. Available as BS3882-compliant or economical alternatives, they encourage wildflowers, heathland, and conservation planting. By limiting phosphate content, these soils help recreate nutrient-poor environments, supporting ecological restoration and natural species diversity in landscaping projects.

F4 – SUDS Soil

Sustainable Drainage System (SUDS) soils manage surface water runoff in urban areas. They support infiltration, improve water quality, and promote vegetation while reducing flood risks. Combining drainage performance and soil stability, SUDS soils are ideal for commercial or residential projects, contributing to sustainable development, climate resilience, and long-lasting landscape success.

F5 – Rootzone Soil

Rootzone soils are carefully blended to provide excellent drainage, aeration, and nutrient retention. They support strong root development while preventing waterlogging, making them ideal for sports turf, landscaping, and specialist planting schemes. Designed for durability under pressure, our rootzone soils ensure lasting growth, performance, and resilience across demanding environments where soil quality is critical.

F6 – Tree Soil

Tree soils are engineered to promote healthy growth and long life for trees in urban and challenging environments. With a balance of structural strength and nutrient supply, they enable roots to establish securely while encouraging airflow and efficient nutrient uptake. Ideal for city planting schemes and major infrastructure projects, they provide a sustainable and reliable foundation for long-term green development.
